Aquinas College acknowledges the diverse schedules and needs of our student body, especially adult learners balancing professional, family, and educational commitments. To accommodate this diversity, we offer programs at three distinct times: morning, evening, and weekends. This combined approach ensures a flexible yet structured framework for students to select and adjust their course timings, maintaining an effective and equitable educational process.
Aquinas College provides students the flexibility to enroll in courses offered in the morning, evening, or on weekends. This choice aims to accommodate students’ varying needs, whether they are managing work, family, or other commitments.
At the time of registration, students are encouraged to select the timing that best fits their schedule. This choice should be made based on the student’s personal and professional obligations to ensure consistency and engagement throughout the course.
Students may request an adjustment to their program timing before receiving any grades in their current course. This ensures that all students have the opportunity to adapt their schedules to unforeseen changes without affecting their academic progress.
Timing adjustment requests are permitted once per course month, coinciding with the commencement of a new course cycle. This limitation safeguards against frequent schedule disruptions.
Once grades have been assigned in a course, the opportunity to adjust program timings will be closed. This measure is in place to uphold the integrity and continuity of the educational experience.
To request a program timing adjustment, students must submit a change of schedule request form Applications must be submitted to the academic department, the email is included in the form.
The academic department will review all timing adjustment requests. Decisions will be based on the rules mentioned above.
